Robert A. Iger is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company. As Chairman and CEO, Mr. Iger is the steward of one of the world’s largest media companies and some of the most respected and beloved brands around the globe. His strategic vision for The Walt Disney Company focuses on three fundamental pillars: generating the best creative content possible; fostering innovation and utilizing the latest technology; and expanding into new markets around the world.
Mr. Iger has built on Disney’s rich history of unforgettable storytelling with the acquisitions of Pixar (2006), Marvel (2009), Lucasfilm (2012) and 21st Century Fox (2019), as well as the landmark 2016 opening of Disney’s first theme park and resort in Mainland China, Shanghai Disney Resort. Always one to embrace new technology, Mr. Iger has made Disney an industry leader through its creative content offerings across new and multiple platforms, most recently leveraging cutting-edge direct-to-consumer technology to successfully launch the Disney+ streaming service on November 12, 2019 and ESPN+ in 2018.
Disney’s exceptional entertainment experiences, widely diverse content, and unique skill in managing businesses in an integrated manner have led to strong results. During Mr. Iger’s tenure, The Walt Disney Company has been recognized as one of the “Most Reputable Companies” in both America and the world by Forbes magazine (2006-2019); one of the “Best Employers” in both America and the world by Forbes magazine (2019 and 2018, respectively); one of the “World's Most Admired Companies” by Fortune magazine (2009-2019); one of the “World's Most Respected Companies" by Barron’s (2009-2017); one of the “Best Places to Launch a Career” by BusinessWeek magazine (2006-2010); and as “Company of the Year” by Yahoo Finance (2013).
Prior to his current role, Mr. Iger served as President and Chief Executive Officer beginning October 2005 and President and Chief Operating Officer from 2000-2005. Mr. Iger officially joined the Disney senior management team in 1996 as Chairman of the Disney-owned ABC Group and in 1999 was given the additional responsibility of President, Walt Disney International. In that role, Mr. Iger expanded and coordinated Disney’s presence outside of the United States, establishing the blueprint for the Company’s international growth today. As Chairman of the ABC Group, Mr. Iger oversaw the broadcast television network and station group, cable television properties, and radio and publishing businesses and also guided the complex merger between Capital Cities/ABC, Inc. and The Walt Disney Company. During Mr. Iger’s years with ABC, he obtained hands-on experience in every aspect of the television business—including news, sports, and entertainment—as well as in program acquisition, rights negotiations, and business affairs. He began his career at ABC in 1974.
Mr. Iger has been named one of the “World’s Most Powerful People” by Forbes magazine (2018); one of Fortune magazine's “25 Most Powerful People in Business” (2006, 2007); one of the “Top Gun CEOs” by Forbes magazine (2009); one of the “Best CEOs” by Institutional Investor magazine (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011); MarketWatch CEO of the Year (2006); and “CEO of the Year” by Chief Executive (2014).
Mr. Iger serves on the boards of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum and Bloomberg Philanthropies. In 2012, Mr. Iger became a member of the Academy of Arts & Sciences, one of the nation’s most prestigious honorary societies, which recognizes some of the world’s most accomplished scholars, scientists, writers, artists, and civic, corporate, and philanthropic leaders.
Mr. Iger is a graduate of Ithaca College.

As Co-Chairman of The Walt Disney Studios, Alan Bergman oversees Disney’s Studio Entertainment division alongside Walt Disney Studios Co-Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Alan Horn.
Under their leadership, The Walt Disney Studios encompasses a collection of world-class film studios that produce high-quality cinematic storytelling for both theatrical and streaming release. Among these globally respected studios are Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Disneynature, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Twentieth Century Fox, Fox Searchlight Pictures, and Blue Sky Studios. In addition, The Walt Disney Studios is home to Disney Music Group, including Walt Disney Records and Hollywood Records, and Disney Theatrical Productions, producer of popular stage shows on Broadway and around the world.
With Horn, Bergman is responsible for the production, marketing, and distribution worldwide of the Studios’ output. He also oversees its business affairs, finance, legal, labor relations, operations, and technology teams.
Before becoming Co-Chairman, Bergman served as President of The Walt Disney Studios from 2005 to 2019. He has played a leading role in the Studios’ expansion and integrations of Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and the Fox film studios. During his tenure, The Walt Disney Studios has set numerous records at the box office, surpassing $7 billion globally in 2016 and 2018 and $8 billion in 2019, the only studio ever to have reached these thresholds. Recent successes include Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin,” and “The Lion King”; Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen” and “Zootopia”; Pixar’s “Coco,” “Incredibles 2,” and “Toy Story 4”; Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”; and Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther,” “Captain Marvel,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” and “Avengers: Endgame,” the latter of which is the highest grossing global release of all time.
Bergman joined The Walt Disney Company in 1996 as a Director in the corporate controllership group with a focus on Walt Disney Studios initiatives. In 1998, he was promoted to Vice President of the Company’s operations planning group, where he was responsible for developing the Company’s annual operating plan. Bergman was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Walt Disney Studios in 2001 and upped to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2002. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics from UCLA.

Alan Braverman was named executive vice president and general counsel of The Walt Disney Company in January, 2003. Braverman serves as the chief legal officer of the company and oversees its team of attorneys responsible for all aspects of Disney's legal affairs around the world.
Previously, Braverman was executive vice president and general counsel, ABC, Inc. and deputy general counsel, The Walt Disney Company. In that capacity he oversaw the legal affairs of the ABC Broadcast Group, ESPN and Disney/ABC Cable, as well as labor relations. In August 1996, prior to Disney's acquisition of ABC, Inc., Braverman was named senior vice president and general counsel, ABC, Inc. In October 1994, he was promoted to vice president and general counsel. He joined ABC, Inc. in November 1993, as vice president and deputy general counsel. In his positions with ABC, Inc. Braverman had broad responsibilities for the operation of the legal department, for government relations and for the Corporation's legal affairs. During his tenure at ABC, Braverman guided the company through numerous lawsuits regarding news reporting and news gathering practices, supervised the company's labor department, and oversaw the government relations function for Capital Cities/ABC, Inc. prior to its merger with Disney.
Braverman joined Capital Cities/ABC, Inc. from the Washington, D.C. law firm of Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering, where he started in 1976. He became a partner in 1983, specializing in complex commercial and administrative litigation. Before joining Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering, Braverman was a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas W. Pomeroy, Jr., Justice, Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Braverman, a native of Boston, received a B.A. degree from Brandeis University in 1969 and subsequently worked for two years as a Vista volunteer in Gary, Indiana. In 1975, he received a J.D. degree summa cum laude from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where he was also editor-in-chief of the Law Review.

As Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, Bob Chapek oversees the global hub where Disney’s stories, characters and franchises come to life. He assumed leadership of the new segment with its creation in March 2018.
The Parks, Experiences and Products segment includes Disney’s iconic travel and leisure businesses, which include six resort destinations in the United States, Europe and Asia, a top-rated cruise line, a popular vacation ownership program, and an award-winning guided family adventure business. Disney’s global consumer products operations include the world’s leading licensing business across toys, apparel, home goods, digital games and apps; the world’s largest children’s publisher; Disney store locations around the world; and the shopDisney e-commerce platform.
Throughout his more than 20 years of leadership at Disney, Chapek has led both Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and Consumer Products and his tenure at the company has been marked by growth and transformation.
Chapek was named Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts in 2015. Since that time, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts?has seen the largest investment and expansion in its sixty-year history. Chapek’s tenure has been marked by the successful opening of Shanghai Disney Resort,?which has exceeded expectations; nearly doubling the Disney Cruise Line fleet; introducing immersive lands inspired by?Star Wars?coming to the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort; the growth of Marvel-inspired attractions across the globe; and one of the most ambitious development projects at Disneyland Paris since the park first opened.
His guest-centric approach focuses on ensuring that every aspect of an experience is uniquely Disney and exceeds guest expectations. At Parks and Resorts, he has implemented innovative strategies to improve the guest experience by balancing demand at the parks, integrating new franchises at locations around the world, and introducing beloved and iconic experiences to new generations of Disney fans. His prior leadership of Disney Consumer Products (DCP) was a period of transformation in the worlds of play, storytelling, and learning.
Chapek also served as president of Distribution for The Walt Disney Studios, where he managed the Company's film content distribution strategy across multiple platforms, and president of Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment during which he led the organization to record-setting performances and played a key role in the commercialization of the Studio's film business.
While at Disney, Chapek has championed using the latest technology to drive growth and improve the guest and consumer experience, developed groundbreaking business models and identified new revenue streams to achieve business objectives and sustain long-term growth for the business.
Prior to joining the company, he worked in brand management at H.J. Heinz Company, and in advertising at J. Walter Thompson. Chapek has a degree in microbiology from Indiana University Bloomington, and received his MBA from Michigan State University.

Prior to joining Disney, Horn served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Warner Bros., leading the studio’s theatrical and home entertainment operations, including the Warner Bros. Pictures Group, Warner Bros. Theatrical Ventures, and Warner Home Video. During Horn’s tenure from 1999 to 2011, Warner Bros. was the top-performing studio at the global box office seven times and released numerous critically acclaimed films and box office hits including the eight-film Harry Potter series, “Batman Begins,” “The Dark Knight,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “Happy Feet,” “Sherlock Holmes,” “The Departed,” “Million Dollar Baby,” the second and third Matrix films and the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy. He was an executive producer on “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.”
In 1987, Horn co-founded Castle Rock Entertainment, where as Chairman he oversaw a diverse collection of popular, acclaimed film and TV properties including “A Few Good Men,” “The Shawshank Redemption,” “The Green Mile,” “When Harry Met Sally,” “City Slickers,” “In the Line of Fire,” and “Seinfeld,” the most successful show in television history. Horn previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Embassy Communications.
A passionate environmental advocate, Horn is chair of the Natural Resources Defense Council. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and he serves on the American Film Institute Board of Directors and the Harvard Business School Board of Dean’s Advisors. He is the recipient of the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation’s 2004 Pioneer of the Year Award, Harvard Business School’s 2007 Leadership Award and 2016 Alumni Achievement Award, the Producers Guild of America’s 2008 Milestone Award, and the Geffen Playhouse’s 2014 Distinction in Service Award.
Horn earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force. In 2010, he received an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree from New York’s Union College, his alma mater.

As Chairman, Direct-to-Consumer and International, Kevin Mayer oversees the Company’s international business units, multi-platform streaming services, technology, distribution, global content and advertising sales to create and deliver personalized entertainment experiences to consumers around the world.
Mr. Mayer’s portfolio includes Disney’s international channel and studio operations and the Company’s direct-to-consumer streaming businesses globally, including the Disney+ service which debuted in the U.S. in November 2019; ESPN+ which was launched in April 2018; HotStar, the leading over-the-top streaming service in India; and the Company’s majority ownership stake in Hulu.
With a focus on maximizing Disney’s opportunities in international media markets, Mr. Mayer is in charge of regional teams stretching from Europe to Asia to Latin America, with responsibilities for the Company’s International Channels, including the international Disney Channels, which are renowned for providing incomparable branded entertainment that is both universally appealing and locally relevant, as well as Fox Networks International, with more than 350 channels in 170 countries; and Star India, which operates 69 channels reaching 720 million viewers a month across India and more than 100 other countries.
Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer and International segment houses global advertising sales and ad technology for all of Disney’s media properties, including ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX Networks, National Geographic and the Disney Channels. This centralization of ad sales provides advertisers a one-stop-shop for reaching diverse audiences across all of Disney’s media properties, including its online and direct-to-consumer platforms.
The Company’s program-sales operations—including global distribution of film and TV content to Disney+, Hulu and other third-party platforms, as well as Movies Anywhere—are also part of the Direct-to-Consumer and International business segment.
A longtime veteran of the Company, Mr. Mayer previously served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, where he was in charge of Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Acquisitions, Enterprise Information Technology, Innovation, Brand and Franchise Management, and Global Corporate Alliances.
During his tenure, Mr. Mayer has overseen Disney’s key strategic acquisitions including Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and BAMTECH, as well as the recent acquisition of 21st?Century Fox. Mr. Mayer created a team focused on growth opportunities by targeting emerging businesses and evaluating new technology and business models. This included the launch of the Disney Accelerator, which aims to bring together industry-leading entrepreneurs, creatives, mentors, investors and technologists to make an impact on the world of media and technology.
Mr. Mayer rejoined Disney in 2005 from L.E.K. Consulting LLC, where he was a partner and head of the Global Media and Entertainment practice. Prior to L.E.K., he held leading positions at interactive and Internet businesses, including chairman and CEO of Clear Channel Interactive, where he managed all aspects of new media business, including content, sales, business and technology development, and distribution.
Mr. Mayer first joined Disney in 1993 and spearheaded strategy and business development for all of Disney's Interactive/Internet and television businesses worldwide. Later, he became Executive Vice President of the Internet group, responsible for the operations, business plans, creative direction and distribution of Disney's popular Web sites, including ESPN.com and ABCNews.com.
Mr. Mayer received his M.B.A. from Harvard University, and holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Christine M. McCarthy is Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Walt Disney Company and oversees the Company’s worldwide finance organization, which includes brand and franchise management, corporate alliances, corporate real estate, corporate strategy, enterprise controllership, enterprise social responsibility, enterprise technology, financial planning and analysis, global product and labor standards, investor relations, risk management, tax, and treasury.
Prior to becoming CFO of The Walt Disney Company in July 2015, Ms. McCarthy served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Real Estate, Alliances and Treasurer, The Walt Disney Company. In that role, she was responsible for the enterprise-wide management of a variety of functions, including corporate finance, capital markets, financial risk management, international treasury, insurance, pension and investments, global cash management and treasury operations, and credit and collections. She also oversaw corporate alliances and the company’s global real estate organization, including development, portfolio management and facilities management.
Prior to joining Disney in 2000, Ms. McCarthy was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Imperial Bancorp from 1997 to 2000. She held various finance and planning positions at First Interstate Bancorp from 1981 to 1996, and was elected Executive Vice President, Finance at First Interstate Bancorp in 1993.
Ms. McCarthy serves on the Boards of Directors of The Procter & Gamble Company and FM Global. She is also a Trustee of the Westridge School in Pasadena, California and the Carnegie Institution for Science. Previously, she was on the boards of Phoenix House of California, Inc., the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, UCLA Anderson, and Smith College. She has received numerous awards and has been named multiple times to Treasury & Risk’s “100 Most Influential People in Finance,” the Top 100 Irish American Business Leaders, and Business Insider’s “The 15 Most Influential Women in Finance.” In 2015, she was the recipient of Treasury Today’s Adam Smith “Woman of the Year” award. In 2016 she received Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Executive of the Year” award and was honored as one of the Entertainment Diversity Council’s “Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Entertainment.”
Ms. McCarthy completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences at Smith College and earned an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.

As Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, Zenia Mucha is responsible for global communications for The Walt Disney Company, including acting as chief spokesperson and overseeing communication strategy and media relations for the company, its various business segments and its philanthropic and environmental initiatives. Her role also includes oversight of internal communications, the Walt Disney Archives and D23.
Since 2002, Ms. Mucha has led the communications and positioning strategy for all of Disney’s strategic business initiatives including the acquisitions of Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm; the Company’s leadership in leveraging digital technology to connect consumers to creative content in new and exciting ways;?and its expansion and growth in international such as the landmark opening of Disney’s first theme park and resort in Mainland China, Shanghai Disney Resort.
Under her direction, Disney launched D23, the first-ever official Disney fan club, with members in all 50 states and 35 countries. Since its 2009 debut, D23 has delighted Disney fans with experiences such as the bi-annual D23 Expo: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, year-round member-only insider access events, and the award-winning quarterly magazine, Disney Twenty-three.
Ms. Mucha originally joined the Company in 2001, as senior vice president, Communications, for the ABC Broadcast Group and the ABC Television Network. In this role, she oversaw the communication strategy and implementation of all external and internal communications. She also had oversight of public service campaigns, audience information, internal publication and the ABC Foundation.
Prior to joining The Walt Disney Company, Ms. Mucha served as director of communications and senior policy advisor to New York State Governor George Pataki. In these roles, she counseled him on a broad range of public policy and other issues and successfully positioned him for re-election, earning a national reputation for her communication strategy and political expertise in the process. The New York Times described her role as expanded beyond communications, “to include virtually every major decision made by the Governor.”
Ms. Mucha previously served as communications director for United States Senator Alfonse D’Amato, managing his successful re-election campaigns in 1986 and 1992. She originally joined Senator D’Amato’s team in 1982 as a press representative.
In 2012 Ms. Mucha received the prestigious Matrix Award from New York Women in Communications, Inc. She has also been named one of the 100 Most Important In-House Communicators in the World by The Holmes Report, and in 2017 was inducted in the PRWeek Hall of Fame.

Jayne Parker

Jayne Parker serves as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for The Walt Disney Company. In her current role, Parker is responsible for leading Disney's overall human resources strategy, global talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, organizational design and cultural development, employee education and development, compensation and benefits, HR operations and technology, employee relations, and global security. As CHRO, she has changed the function, culture, and impact of HR across the Company to support its business goals and strategies as well as the needs and aspirations of its 220,000 employees around the world. Parker was named Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for The Walt Disney Company in September 2009.
While Parker has been CHRO, Disney has acquired 21st Century Fox , Marvel, Lucasfilm, and a controlling interest in BAMTech (now Disney Streaming Services), and has grown its global employee population by more than 55,000 people.
As CHRO, Parker has overseen efforts that have resulted in: more effective and streamlined companywide talent acquisition practices that better utilize technology; a companywide diversity and inclusion strategy, including initiatives to improve diversity at the executive level, expanded hiring of veterans, launch of a global workplace and women’s initiative, and launch of a companywide Hispanic initiative; a redesigned retirement program; an initiative to harmonize compensation and benefit programs across the Company to promote efficient internal movement of talent; more thoughtful, comprehensive talent management and talent development programs; and continuous evaluation and delivery of programs and experiences that employees want, which is based on continuous feedback from and conversation with them.
Parker’s work has been driven by a fundamental philosophy that HR professionals are business professionals first, and by her desire to serve employees and leaders alike, helping them think through changes and working with them to move their businesses forward—all with a strong sense of collaboration, strategic vision, and organizational alignment.? She has transformed Disney HR, injecting a state-of-the-art, business mindset into its structure and systems, continually looking to challenge conventions and finding alternatives that may work better, reach farther, and drive more success.
Several years ago, Parker created HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) focusing on disciplines like Learning, Diversity & Inclusion, and Talent Solutions.? This structural evolution also resulted in the creation of Disney’s Global Human Resources Operations (GHRO), which established operational efficiencies and day-to-day support for employees and leaders within all segments. Shifting administrative support from traditional HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to GHRO allowed HRBPs to elevate their focus on driving strategy and partnering with/advising business leaders. ??During her tenure, Parker also named Disney’s first Chief Diversity Officer, establishing a commitment to creating inclusive environments where people can thrive.? Prior to her current role, Parker served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide. In this position, she had responsibility for all human resources-related services for nearly 100,000 Cast Members, Crew Members, and Imagineers globally, including: employee/labor relations, diversity and inclusion, compliance, recruitment, talent planning, learning and development, organizational development, compensation, benefits, and workforce planning. She led a team focused on developing and implementing strategies that drove business results, created a positive work environment and experience for Cast, Crew and Imagineers and increased levels of employee engagement. She also served as a member of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Executive Committee.
Parker began her Disney career in 1988, developing the programs that became a part of the Disney Institute. Over the next 20 years, she took on positions of increasing responsibility at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, including Manager and Director of Disney University, Director and Vice President of Organization Improvement, and Vice President of Organization and Professional Development.
Prior to joining Disney, Parker was a consultant with Wilson Learning Corporation, where she was responsible for designing and developing media-based programs and management development seminars for education and assessment. During that time, products she developed were awarded first- and second-place by the International Television & Video Association.
Parker holds degrees in communications and education, a master's in instruction design and technology, and an M.B.A. ? all from the University of Central Florida.

He was a driving force in the formation of National Geographic Partners and the launch of FS1 and FS2.
